Event Details

The Development Marketplace is a competitive grant program administered by the World Bank. The 2009 global competition is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and other DM partners. It aims to identify 20 to 25 innovative, early-stage projects addressing climate adaptation.

Important Notes for Visitors:

1. DM does not offer scholarships, visa invitation letters, or hotel accommodations for visitors to the Global Development Marketplace.

2. In order to enter the World Bank Main Complex building, you will be asked to show (i) a government issued photo identification or passport and (ii) the printed ticket generated after your event registration here. Please bring these two items to the Marketplace event to ensure a convenient and smooth entrance to the competition.
